About the job

The Category & Channel Manager is accountable for driving category growth in cooperation with our customers in the drugstore channel, which means support in developing and executing category visions, category plans, optimizing of shelving and merchandising.

Your responsibilities are:

• Understand various factors at play driving category performance with our retailers. Defining these category, consumer and shopper insights and support in building the category vision for SN. Connecting various data insights with customer strategies and support in connecting/aligning SN plans accordingly.
• Drive category partnerships with the strategic customers - on SN - by providing them with actionable category, shopper- and consumer focused insights. Balances external realities with internal objectives and supports cross-functional commercial teams towards commercial execution excellence.
• Leading external milestones, partnering strategically with customers on Category - & Merchandising Projects.
• Actively participate in internal cross-functional teams, enabling visibility on all various data/category insights.

The key deliverables for the position are the following:

• Implementing category development for SN, and ensure executional delivery against category roadmap
• Execute category tactics plan for optimal delivery on growth objectives, aligned with Category & Merchandising plans.
• Within your scope alignment & coordination between brand, customer and category plans for SN.
• Data driven insights to optimize, and course correct, both category- & shelf visions and plans.

About you

• Bachelor/Master degree (preferably in Business or Marketing)
• Native Dutch speaker, Fluent in English
• Strong analytical + conceptual skills
• Demonstrated high aptitude in Nielsen, SIS, 7Even, Spacemen and other tools
• Strong connector who is able to convince stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Min. 3-5 years of experience in Category Management, within NL FMCG Retail
• Demonstrated leadership on external category projects
