Job description

As a project buyer, in addition to external contacts, you have a lot of contact with internal stakeholders from the engineering and logistics departments. Next to this you are responsible for planning, purchasing materials and drawing up service level agreements (SLA's) resulting from the mostly project-based work. The current purchasing team consists of 6 employees and a division has been made between project buyers and commodity buyers. As a project buyer, you report directly to the project procurement manager.

• Drawing up procurement plans for various (international) projects
• Tactical purchasing of materials and services at international level
• Setting up service level agreements and contracts
• Contract negotiation
• Supplier management

Required background

• At least a completed bachelor's degree
• NEVI 1 is a strong plus
• A couple of years' experience as project buyer in a project-driven (technical) environment
• Extensive knowledge of contract management and SLA's
• You are a driven negotiator with technical knowledge and strong numerical insight
• Knowledge of ERP/purchasing systems (Navison)
• Fluent in English and Dutch
