The Paleis Hotel is a luxurious 4-star boutique hotel located in the historic and bustling Hofkwartier of The Hague, a stone's throw from Paleis Noordeinde, the working palace of King .

We are looking for an enthusiastic, decisive and experienced Front Desk Employee who wants to strengthen our team on a part-time basis.

Within this position you are the pivot within our hotel. You are responsible for the smooth running of your reception service and you perform reception tasks in the broadest sense of the word. In addition, you act as the first point of contact for both our valued hotel guest and your colleagues in all situations.

Your profile:

Since the hospitality experience of our guests is of paramount importance to us, we are looking for a colleague with a sparkling personality who is not afraid to approach someone. Providing a perfect service is made for you and satisfied guests are the motivation for you to take that extra step.

- you have minimal MBO working and thinking level;

- you have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language. French and/or German is an advantage;

- experience in the hotel industry is an advantage, if not a must;

- you are independent, representative, accurate, flexible, responsible and hospitable;

- you are extremely stress-resistant and dare to look for the right solution if the situation requires it;

- you work in alternating shifts (no night shifts), weekends and public holidays;

- you have your own transport and live in the region of The Hague.
