Vacature Project Manager

The team:
You will be part of the PMO team which is a fresh, dynamic and growing team.
The mission of the PMO department is to enable Pharming towards growth and success by professionalizing and embedding project management in the Pharming culture and way of working.
The PMO main responsibilities are:

• Successful project execution and delivery of Pharming's pipeline.
• Establishment of corporate standards and methodology. PMO aims to ensure consistency, efficiency and effectiveness when working on projects.
• Ensure that corporate standards, methodology and governance are applied.

Purpose of the role:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing Pharming drug development projects. He/she works alongside the project leader and core development team, coordinates and controls completion of all activities inherent to different disciplines within the agreed timelines, plan and budget, and in compliance with the appropriate quality standards and legislation. This is a highly dynamic role that requires a hands-on, collaborative can-do mentality and a high level of organizational and communication skills.
As part of the PMO team, the Project Manager supports the department working on departmental activities.
The project manager will report into Sr. Director PMO.

Area of responsibilities:

• Lead project management activities incl. planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, resources, budget monitoring, decision-making support
• Contribute to and/or coordinate the development of strategic documents and prepares for phase transitions in collaboration with the Development Teams
• Responsible for strategy implementation and operational execution of the program (quality and accuracy of program plan and forecast in enterprise planning systems)
• Prepare and manage the effective coordination and facilitation of cross-functional team meetings from a project management perspective (agendas, minutes)
• Provide Project Management expertise and leadership in the areas of planning, tracking, scenario-generation, contingency development, critical path analysis, and risk management.
• Contribute to functional excellence by supporting implementation of PM standards, team objectives, project documentation and communication.
• Prepare and present monthly reporting to team and stakeholders to show progress, results; anticipate risks and provide recommendations and solutions.
• Ensure integration and execution across all functional areas in delivering the program's development's goals and the team's success (scope, budget, time, quality)
• Facilitate strong cross-functional communication by building working relationships across the organization.
• Help drive a culture of achievement and accountability within teams.
• Acts as an ambassador together with PMO colleagues by promoting, actively spreading and maintaining PM culture within the company and represent the PMO in the organization

Functional knowledge and experience:

• Academic degree (MSc)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Drug development knowledge
• Project management skills: planning (MS project), resources capacity, tracking, scenario-generation, budget, contingency development, critical path analysis, and risk management
• PM(P) certification
• Up-to-date knowledge of GMP and/or GLP and other applicable regulatory requirements (pre)
